This gem of a property in historic Bungalow Heaven - close to Old Pasadena - has been recently updated. It boasts 1 bedroom, 1 bath, screened back porch, and a new back patio. It also comes with hardwood floors, a granite kitchen counter, new interior paint, and a front porch with a swing overlooking McDonald Park. Not to mention, it comes with a washer and dryer and 2 parking spaces. Must see in person!
What do you recommend? Pasadena properties tend to be a bit more expensive because of its historical landmarks, especially because this building is from the 1920's. Any advice you can give would be great.
It'd be a fine price if the market could handle it, and if we weren't in a recession. Being a rental property owner myself, that is a price I'd build up to. I'd start with $1,200 a month and then gradually build up to 1500 over the next two years as things get better. Always bad during an election year and it's got to get better.
Thank you very much for the advice. Unfortunately, I can't change the price because it is not my property - I'm trying to terminate the lease. My significant other got a job elsewhere causing us to move closer. We're having an open house tomorrow (Oct 5th) 3-6. Please pass the word if you know of anyone looking for a freestanding non-apartment. Thanks again.
